1. Run more: March miles = 93.6. I cannot tell you how proud I am of this number. And I owe thanks to Tall Mom, because without her challenge, I don't know that I'd have succeeded, especially with a 10.5 mile WEEK in there. YAY! Year total = 165.42.
2. Lose 8 - I am down 2 more pounds. I must eat a lot more sweets than I realized, since all that's changed this month is giving up sweets for lent. Well, maybe the increased mileage had something to do with it too...
3. Sub-6 marathon - At the rate I am going, it'll take a major malfunction to not make this a reality. I may even change it to a goal of sub-5.
4. Housekeeping - FAIL. That is all.
5. 1 on 1 with non-James kids - NOT a good month for this. Boo.
6. Crosstraining - Fail again. Dammit.
Great job on the March mileage. Impressive total. I'm with you on the crosstraining fail. Just can't seem to make this work. Hope April is a success for you.
ReplyDeleteWay to go on your mileage! Kicking ass! I am also doing the Wisconsin Half too!
ReplyDeleteYou had a great month. I wouldn't say "fail" on the others - just other priorities!
ReplyDeleteI am impressed with the miles this month. Maybe in 2012 I will do the challenge but there is no way I could get it done, I am struggling so much fitting running into my life right now, and I so am bummed about it.
ReplyDeleteApril Goal: Run more a lot more, work out more, eat better, loose some of the chub, enjoy my kids, husband and life.
Happy April,
elena
Bobbi, you're doing great with your running. Don't worry so much about the house cleaning.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how you do in your next half--I'll be cheering you on.
Congrats on two pounds, and KICK ASS MILAGE!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo on your miles!!
ReplyDeleteThe way I look at the housekeeping thing is that it isn't a fail, just that you haven't quite succeeded yet. There is ALWAYS more to do, no matter what you do so I think you can't really ever count it as a fail. (This could just be my way of rationalizing this but maybe it could work for you too?)
ReplyDeleteYay for weightloss and mileage! I wish i could do that half but have a communion that morning.
ReplyDeleteHousework? What's that?
At least you're still thinking about your new year's goals! It's hard to do it all, but I think you did great! Great job!
ReplyDeleteHey, you are doing really well on the first three things!!
ReplyDeleteAnd housekeeping?! BLEH! I never want to do it. Unfortunately, neither does Steven. I wish I had a housekeeper sometimes :)
