Musings on 20 Miles

Just a quickie - more to come Monday...

1. Bloggers rule. Seriously. Not only did you guys do an amazing job talking me down off my ledge (thank you so much for all your sweet comments!) but I got to meet a blogger today who stayed a half an hour after HER finish, called me to make sure I was ok, and then walked back to run me in. Words can't describe - was SO cool.

2. Bloody Nipples - you'd think by this time in their training, boys would have heard of and prepped for this unfortunate phenomena. But I saw SO MANY today. Ouch.

3. Thunder and lightening and pouring rain suck. Especially when it kills your iPod.

4. Gigantic blister - what do I do with it? It's right under my bunion - kind of arch edge of the ball of my foot. It should make wearing pretty shoes to the wedding I'm attending tomorrow FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC. Pardon my French.

5. I FINISHED! 4:25 ish (see: dead iPod - nothing exact)

    WOOT! Good job on finishing. I have no advice for blisters... I rarely get them but when I do, I usually pop them and then they take forever to heal :(

    I missed all the bloddy nips! Darn! :P Is your iPod revived? My phone was not happy with me, but is working now!

    So happy I got to met you! You did awesome for your first 20!!! :)

    Oh yeah, and pop that bad boy. I popped mine! Hope the wedding was fun!
