John came home from Jenna's game about 7:30. I asked if I could get out and run.
He said, "The roads are covered and the subdivision is pretty slippery."
I said, "Just 3 miles?"
He said, "I wouldn't advise it."
GROAN.
Checked the radar...not TOO bad.
Poked my head out the front door...pretty quiet out there.
Walked into the living room, and he said, "You're running, aren't you?"
I thought to myself, "It IS called 'SUCK IT UP, BUTTERCUP!'" and I smiled and ran upstairs to grab my gear and change.
Not fast, but I can't remember a run feeling better.
SMILING!
3.1 miles. 35:09. Splits = 11:04, 11:39, 11:24, 10:07.
Way to get out there and do it! Sometimes, those are the ones are the best, because they make you feel tough! Actually, you are tough. I would've died a .2 into it.
